Parents at a Michigan high school are questioning a gym class policy that requires female students who miss swimming because of their periods to provide information about the length of their menstrual cycles. The policy at Lakeview High School has sparked concerns about students’ privacy after one father said he was stunned to find the requirement in his daughter’s class syllabus.
