March 13 2024- In the presentation by Voyager Elementary School staff, restorative practices were highlighted as a way to foster equity, empathy, and connection among participants. The use of restorative practices circles, where individuals sit in a circle and pass around a talking piece to facilitate communication, was emphasized. This method aims to promote understanding and a sense of community within the school.
