Chrisland Student Emerges Second Overall in 2025 BECE

Chrisland Schools has reaffirmed its reputation for academic excellence as Daniella Michael of Chrisland High School, Ikeja, emerged as the second overall best candidate in Nigeria in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Her remarkable performance earned her the prestigious Basic Education Torchbearers Award, recognizing not only her brilliance but also the quality of education and mentorship she received.
Daniella’s achievement follows a consistent record of excellence; she was Valedictorian of Chrisland School, Opebi in 2022.
This comes on the heels of another milestone for the school: Ololade Naomi Olayinka’s global recognition as Top in the World in English as a Second Language (Speaking Endorsement) at the 2024 Cambridge IGCSE, earning the British Council Outstanding Cambridge Learners Award.
From national recognition to international acclaim, Chrisland students continue to demonstrate that with dedication, support, and the right environment, excellence is attainable.
Every child has the right to quality education and the opportunity to develop their talents. Recognizing and celebrating academic achievements like Daniella’s affirms the importance of investing in education systems that empower children to thrive, achieve, and contribute meaningfully to their societies.
