Kano Postpones School Resumption Date

The Kano State Government has delayed the start date for primary and post-primary schools for the 2024/2025 academic session, which was originally set for September 9, 2024. The postponement was announced by Balarabe Kiru, the Director of Public Enlightenment at the Ministry of Education, who cited urgent reasons for the change as explained by the Commissioner of Education, Umar Doguwa.

The Commissioner of Education, Umar Doguwa, has announced that the previously set resumption date for schools on September 8 and 9, 2024, has been postponed due to urgent reasons aimed at enhancing the learning environment. A new resumption date will be provided soon. The statement requested patience from students and parents regarding the inconvenience caused by the delay.
