< 1 min read

A community in Western New York is supporting a man who housed an ailing 11-foot, 750-pound alligator in his home’s pool, where children were allowed to swim with the reptile. The alligator was seized from the Hamburg residence, which featured an in-ground pool designed to resemble a pond. The homeowner allegedly permitted the public to enter the water and interact with the unsecured alligator, according to the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
