Bandits staged a daring abduction in Abuja, targeting the family of a senior Customs officer. They seized his pregnant wife, three children, and a younger brother from their home in Shagari Quarters, Dei-Dei, around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Despite the officer’s previous police protection while serving with the Rapid Response Squad in Lagos, his family was left vulnerable during the attack due to the withdrawal of security.
