Growing up, I never felt a strong urge to have children early on. Instead, I focused on my career and personal interests, not worrying about biological clocks. However, in my 30s, after meeting and marrying my husband, we decided to start a family. Becoming a parent later in life has its benefits; I had the freedom to explore my passions and establish financial stability.
Additionally, having experienced parents at a young age, I valued being mentally and financially prepared for parenthood. Despite the advantages, there are challenges, such as less time with grandparents and delayed empty nest years. While others may choose a different path, waiting to become a parent has been the right choice for me and my family.
