Cincinnati School Unions and the Superintendent React to the Vote of No Confidence.

Cincinnati school unions held a press conference to explain their vote of no confidence against Superintendent Iranetta Wright. They criticized her management of the budget process, alleged creation of a toxic work environment, and micromanagement. Representatives from six unions, including teachers, food service workers, and administrators, expressed dissatisfaction with Wright’s leadership. They emphasized failed attempts at communication and collaboration. In response, Wright called the vote unfortunate and stressed the need for collaboration. Her future with the district depends on the board of education’s decision, which may consider the unions’ recommendations.
