Crandon School Authorities Rule Out Carbon Monoxide as the Reason Behind the Widespread Illness

< 1 min read

Crandon School officials no longer attribute the sickness of 39 individuals, some of whom required hospitalisation, to carbon monoxide from a furnace issue. This revelation emerged during a public hearing preceding the resumption of classes after a hiatus since March 14th. Concerns about building safety were voiced during the meeting, with attendees expressing anxiety and demanding answers. While officials refuted claims of illegal drugs or tampering with ventilation systems, they admitted uncertainty about the cause of the illness. Despite assurances of building safety and additional carbon monoxide detectors, counsellors will be available to support students upon their return.
