The Federal Government has introduced a National Textbook Ranking System for primary and secondary schools in a bid to strengthen child safeguarding in education by ensuring that only high-quality, curriculum-compliant learning materials are used in classrooms and addressing concerns over the unchecked proliferation of substandard textbooks across Nigeria’s school system.
