Unilever Nigeria has launched a campaign, “Talk to a Dentist,” in partnership with the Nigerian Dental Association (NDA), aiming to improve oral health among Nigerian children. The initiative targets reaching 10 million school children by 2025. During a press conference commemorating World Oral Health Day 2024, Unilever Nigeria’s Marketing Head for Beauty & Well-Being emphasized the importance of good oral hygiene for children’s health and self-esteem. Tooth decay is highlighted as a prevalent oral disease, contributing to self-confidence issues in children. The campaign aims to combat oral health issues by promoting consistent brushing with fluoride toothpaste and regular dental check-ups, ultimately striving for zero cavities.
