It’s a big day for young kids in Eugene – the first day of kindergarten! Children at Holt Elementary were ready to get to work. But the things they were most excited for had nothing to do with reading, writing, and arithmetic: It wasn’t just kindergarteners who had their first day; sixth and ninth graders filled the halls of the middle and high schools.
