Homeless Families to be Barred From Sleeping Overnight at Logan International Airport

< 1 min read

This change aims to redirect homeless families, including recently arrived migrants, from using the airport as temporary shelter. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Emergency Assistance Director Scott Rice emphasized that the airport is not suitable for long-term stays and cited efforts to provide overflow shelter beds elsewhere.
