March 19 2024- In November 2022, Jennifer Louise Whelan of Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with numerous serious crimes, including sex trafficking and indecent assault of three young children. Earlier, police had discovered that Whelan was allegedly using three children, as young as six, under her care to produce child sex abuse material, which she reportedly sold and sent to a customer via Facebook Messenger. Whelan pleaded not guilty to the charges. The alleged buyer, Brandon Warren, was indicted by a grand jury in February 2022 and charged with nine counts of distributing material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. He also pleaded not guilty. Court documents revealed Facebook messages between Warren and Whelan, where Warren allegedly instructed Whelan on how he wanted the videos to be made.
