The governments of Kwara and Oyo states have announced the postponement of the Basic Education Certificate Examination initially scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari. In separate statements issued on Tuesday, the education ministries of both states said the shift in schedule followed the public holiday declared by the Federal Government to mourn the late Nigerian leader.
