Lawrence Central High School will host the 2024 Indiana Robotics Invitational, featuring nearly 60 FIRST Robotics teams from 19 states and three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Teams include TechHOUNDS, Kil-A-Bytes, Tiger Dynasty, TechnoKats, Cyber Blue, Digital Goats, Red Alert Robotics, Harrison Boiler Robotics, CyberTooth, and SuPURDUEper Robotics. The event, renowned for its competitive robots, also offers a popular concession with grilled corn managed by the Kil-A-Bytes team, expected to serve about 1,000 ears over two days. The public is invited to attend, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. each day and final matches scheduled for around 2 p.m. on July 13.
