School buses are hitting the road again in Michigan City thanks to the generosity of other Michiana school systems. Michigan City Area Schools was forced to call a last-minute eLearning day on Tuesday after roughly 20 buses were disabled by vandals this week. Drivers showed up to start their routes and noticed that someone stole the catalytic converters from about a third of the district’s bus fleet.
