A Southeast D.C. mother is asking for the public’s help in finding her 12-year-old son, who went missing Sunday morning after leaving home to walk the family dog. Demetri Montgomery, who has autism, was last seen near the 5500 block of C Street SE around 7 a.m. His mother, Cynthia Walton, said he left to walk the family’s white pit bull, Skyla, but never returned.
