March 18 2024- Colleen Schroeder, a New Jersey school principal from Hainesport, has been arrested and charged with theft after allegedly stealing over $700 from the Helen L. Beeler Elementary School’s main office, money that belonged to the Evesham Township School District. The alleged theft occurred in late February, and Schroeder has been released on a summons. She will remain on leave as police continue their investigation. Parents in the district were shocked to hear the news, which many learned from their children.
