Parents face multiple charges after 6-month-old is found with 29 broken bones

A couple is now facing child cruelty charges a year after officers found their 6-month-old daughter with 29 broken bones.

Officers in Rome, located 70 miles northwest of Atlanta, arrested Savannah Carol-Louise Cox and Shane Avery Moore for the alleged abuse, according to WAGA.

According to police records, Cox and her mother took the child to a nearby hospital last February for injuries the child suffered. That’s when the hospital called the police as they found the baby suffering from a broken femur as well as multiple bruises on the face.
