Georgia is preparing to launch the Georgia Promise Scholarship program, allowing parents to apply for state funds to help pay for private school tuition, homeschooling supplies, or early college courses. Starting in 2025-26, families can receive up to $6,500 per year. The program aims to provide more educational choices for families in low-performing school districts. To qualify, students must live in areas served by schools in the state’s bottom 25% for academic achievement. The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement will announce eligible schools on December 1.
