A man, Phillip Hull, was sentenced to over 10 years in prison for sexually abusing a child. The abuse started when the victim was eight years old. The investigation was led by Essex Police’s Child Abuse Investigation Team, resulting in Hull being charged with various sexual offenses. Despite pleading not guilty to some charges, he was sentenced to 10 years and six months in prison, with additional orders against him including a restraining order, registration as a sex offender for life, and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
