< 1 min read

Special education students at Golden Valley High School in Santa Clarita, California, are gaining valuable vocational training and independent skills by running the Grizzlies Cafecito, a new coffee cart on campus. Staff members are currently the customers, and the students are learning important lessons about responsibility, flexibility, and customer service. The programme, initiated by career transition advisor Sarah Caduff, aims to help students secure and maintain employment while fostering confidence and independence. The programme operates once a week, but there are plans to potentially expand its days of operation in the future.
