More than 300 students walked out of Portland Public Schools Friday afternoon and made their way across the city to the district’s administrative headquarters. Since then, Israel’s military operations have killed more than 30,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s health ministry, and displaced about 2 million people in Gaza. Residents are facing evacuation orders and catastrophic levels of hunger from severe restrictions to aid.
