A 15-year-old student with special needs was fatally struck by a car while walking along a New York parkway after leaving school by himself, according to his family. New York State Police say 15-year-old Christopher Williams was hit by a car Thursday afternoon on the Southern State Parkway on Long Island. The teenager, who had special needs, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
