February 8 2024- Tragic news emerged as two children lost their lives in a solo car accident on New Year’s Day at Ade Best axis, Isara, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) spokesperson for Ogun State, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident, attributing it to over-speeding and loss of control. The accident involved a Toyota car with registration number TTD 985 AA, which veered off the road and into a ditch around 8:00 a.m. The crash resulted in two fatalities, including the children, and left three others injured.
