Virginia School Photographer Fired After Making ‘Inappropriate Comments’ to Elementary Students

At Chittum Elementary School in Chesapeake, a photographer hired for school pictures was removed after making inappropriate comments to students. Principal Bridget Outlaw informed parents that the unnamed photographer, employed by Lifetouch, made alarming remarks to a student, such as asking if he could “steal your identity” and “eat your soul.” Parent Rachel Fjeld reported that her son was visibly upset by the exchange, expressing confusion and fear. She praised the school for their quick response in escorting the photographer off campus and notifying parents. Lifetouch later confirmed that the photographer was no longer with the company and that an internal investigation was underway, emphasizing their commitment to student safety.
