Unanswered questions remain about a fatal shooting at a Madison, Wisconsin, private school as new details emerge about the shooter’s family life and possible ties to a California man who, according to an Associated Press report, allegedly planned to carry out a mass shooting at a government building.
Investigators are also parsing through social media and documents to understand why and how 15-year-old freshman Natalie Rupnow, who went by the name “Samantha,” obtained a firearm and attacked her peers and teachers Monday at Abundant Life Christian School.
