Through Bambini Africa, an organization she co-founded, Raquel fosters learning and creativity among children with culturally relevant resources, including Bambini Books and Bambini TV. Her passion for menstrual health advocacy stems from her own challenging experiences, and she remains a steadfast advocate for girls’ health and dignity.

An alumna of prestigious programs like LEAP Africa and the Queen’s Young Leaders Program, Raquel has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2023 Lord’s Achievers Award and the 2021 African Luther King Heroes Award.
