Teacher Recruitment Begins in Lagos as Portal Opens for Two Weeks
The Lagos State Government has announced the reactivation of its teaching job recruitment portal, offering qualified individuals the opportunity to apply for entry-level teaching positions in the state’s public secondary schools.
In a notice released by the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) on Tuesday, the portal will be open for applications from Tuesday, July 1 to Monday, July 14, 2025.
According to the Commission, the move is part of ongoing efforts to expand employment opportunities, promote equity, and ensure a transparent recruitment process in the education sector.
The portal will serve as a centralized platform where eligible candidates, with a degree in Education or other relevant qualifications, can apply for teaching roles at Grade Level 08.
Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the official recruitment portal at https://tescomjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng to submit their applications within the specified timeframe.
This initiative, signed by the Chairman of TESCOM, is part of a broader commitment by the state government to strengthen the teaching workforce in a bid to boost education and ensure students across the state are taught by competent and dedicated professionals who can inspire learning and academic growth.
