Tragedy in Enugu: Spiritualist Murders Four Children with Pestle

A devastating tragedy has struck the peaceful community of Ibagwa-Aka in Igbo-Eze South LGA, Enugu State, where four children were gruesomely murdered by a self-proclaimed spiritualist of a Sabbath church.
The affected children, Kamsiyochukwu (7), Ezinne (6), Ujunwa (5), and Chinedu Ezema (2), were allegedly killed with a pestle in a shocking act of violence that has left their family and the entire community reeling with grief and anger.
Local Government Chairman, Ferdinand Ukwueze, who visited the bereaved parents and the crime scene, described the incident as “heinous” and vowed that justice would be served. He confirmed that several suspects have been apprehended, while others remain at large. The location of the incident, used for alleged unauthorized spiritual and herbal practices, has been sealed off.
The parents of the slain children, Chinonso and Loveth Ezema, were away at the time of the attack and are now calling for a thorough investigation and swift justice.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing, and security measures are being tightened to prevent such a tragic recurrence. Meanwhile, efforts to reach the Enugu State Police PRO for further comment have been unsuccessful.
