Violent Clash in Niger State: 11 Arrested, Two Children Injured

The Niger State Police Command has arrested 11 youths following a violent clash in Suleja, which left two children with gunshot wounds.
The fight, reportedly over a dispute involving a girl, broke out between students of Annur Islamic Model School and local youths. Led by SSS 3 student Umar Idris, the group stormed the Chaichainiya area armed with dangerous weapons.
Gunshots were fired during the chaos, injuring 10-year-old Nura Jibrin and 11-year-old Imrana Hassan, who were rushed to Suleja General Hospital for treatment. A preliminary investigation has linked the shooting to an officer of a sister security agency. The police have launched a full investigation.
