Marcus Brown, 18, was arrested on Friday in connection with a July 29 shooting in Columbus that injured a victim who was shot in both legs. The incident, which occurred near South Lumpkin Road and Hendrix Avenue, involved Brown allegedly stealing the victim’s pistol. He faces charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Brown is set to have a preliminary hearing in Recorder’s Court on August 22 at 9 a.m.
