Woodhall Capital International Foundation recently hosted an event at the Capital Club in Lagos, featuring Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner, head of The Stowe Group, and his team from Stowe School in the UK. The event aimed to highlight the foundation’s work in Nigeria and introduce the Stowe team to local communities, Nigerian alumni, and prospective parents. Stowe School, a prestigious British institution for students aged 13–18, is known for its educational excellence and focus on preparing students for future challenges.

Woodhall Capital organized the event to showcase Nigeria’s investment potential and cultural richness, aligning with its mission to promote the country globally. Viavo Hunponu-Wusu, chairman of Woodhall Capital Foundation, highlighted the importance of such partnerships, particularly in education, as a means to address societal challenges. Dr. Wallersteiner emphasized the value of collaboration between UK charitable organizations and Nigerian philanthropists, expressing excitement about the positive impact they can achieve together for Nigeria and the world.

Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner shared Stowe School’s initiatives in Nigeria, including educational programs and humanitarian outreach in areas like Maiduguri and Borno, where the school has been feeding over 2,000 children and supporting education efforts, particularly for girls and vulnerable youth. The Stowe team also visited the Soup Kitchen of Woodhall Capital Foundation, in collaboration with the Kanu Heart Foundation, where they learned about the foundation’s projects, such as providing dormitories for street children.

Stowe School alumni parent Otunba Funsho Lawal praised the school’s positive impact on his children, noting their development into disciplined and focused individuals under Dr. Wallersteiner’s leadership. The event highlighted Woodhall Capital’s ongoing commitment to expanding educational opportunities in Nigeria through partnerships with institutions like Stowe.
