Six people, including a three-year-old boy, died after a fire broke out in a private hospital in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, on Thursday night.
Police and fire department officials said that several people were trapped in a lift within the hospital and were found in an unconscious state. They were rushed to a hospital where they were declared dead due to suffocation and burn injuries.
