A 15-year-old girl returning home from school was killed of severe head injuries when a wooden pole from an underconstruction building fell on her in V.V. Puram on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Tejeswini, a resident of K.G. Nagar.
According to the police, she was studying in class 10 at Vasavi Vidya Niketan and her father Sudhakara Rao works as a driver at a private firm. The incident occurred on National High School Road, near the National College metro station.
