A 12-year-old boy from Andhra Pradesh died on his birthday after a truck heading hit the motorcycle he was on from behind near Hennur Bande in Bengaluru on Saturday night.
The boy — identified as Bhanu Teja and a native of the Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh — was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by his cousin Chakradaran, 20, when the accident occurred. Teja had come to Bengaluru to study the Vedas and was living in a temple in R T Nagar.
