The Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Nureni Adeniran, has lauded the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration’s effort in reducing the number of out-of-school children in the state. According to him, about 60,000 out-of-school children have been returned to the classrooms. Also, the state Chairperson of Post Primary Schools’ Teaching Service Commission, Mrs Olubukola Oladipo, said the staff strength in the secondary schools rose from 13,730 in 2019 to 26,436 after six years in office of the governor.
