UNICEF tasks Adamawa traditional rulers on out-of-school children

The United Nations Children’s Fund has urged traditional rulers to join the fight against out-of-school children, especially the girl child in Adamawa State and the North East subregion. Speaking at a one day stakeholders meeting on Tuesday, the Chief Field Officer in Bauchi Field Office, Dr. Nuzhat Rafique disclosed that the UNICEF data showed that over 80 million school-age children are out of school in Nigeria.
