A former substitute teacher who sexually assaulted an 11 year old boy has been sentenced to a decade in prison. Alley Bardfield, who worked as a stand-in at Decatur Public Schools in Illinois, was arrested in April 2024 at her home in Mt. Zion after the young student aided police in a sting operation.
