A 25-year-old woman has been sentenced to just over three years in prison for the shooting death of a 7-year-old Wichita boy earlier this year. The Sedgwick County district attorney’s office said Judge Sean Hatfield on Thursday sentenced Tasha Dillard to 37 months. She pleaded guilty last month to involuntary manslaughter and six counts of aggravated child endangerment. She was initially charged with first-degree murder.
