We’ve spent generations helping girls succeed. We’re leaving boys behind

I come from a family of strong women. Themes like independence, career, equality and strength have always been resonant in our household. For most of my life, I felt men had no issues. They were thriving, succeeding at the highest levels. It was the women who needed support. I grew up admiring organizations and people who focused on pushing women into STEM – science, technology, engineering and math, increasing college admission rates for girls and working to break that glass ceiling.
