A new investigation has highlighted serious concerns about supervision systems for convicted sex offenders, after multiple cases in Victoria allegedly involved reoffending while individuals were still under monitoring. The report examines systemic gaps in oversight and public safety safeguards, following incidents in which offenders were found in proximity to vulnerable community spaces, including areas frequented by children.
