JAMB Reaffirms No Special Cut-Off Marks for Candidates with Disabilities, Defends Equal Admission Standards

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reiterated that candidates with disabilities are assessed under the same admission standards as all other applicants, stressing that no special cut-off marks are applied in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), a position that has renewed discussions on fairness, access, and safeguarding in higher education inclusion.
