A Liberty County pastor in Texas has been arrested and charged with multiple child sex crimes, including continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, authorities said. The arrest of George Finney, who served at New Life Kenefick, followed a report made on June 19 after a juvenile victim disclosed the abuse to an adult, who alerted law enforcement. Officials confirmed the alleged abuse occurred between January and October 2024 as the investigation continues.
