February 23 2024- A new 100-bed Mother and Child Hospital has been commissioned in Tsamiya village, Kebbi State, aiming to significantly reduce maternal and child mortality. The hospital was built and fully equipped by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs) and handed over to the Kebbi State government. This state-of-the-art facility is part of the initiative by OSSAP-SDGs to construct over 40 units of 100-bed Mother and Child Hospitals across Nigeria to enhance healthcare services for mothers and children.
