Police in Abia State have arrested a man after his 13-year-old son was allegedly stripped, tied up and beaten in Aba, raising concerns about the child’s safety and welfare. The Abia State Police Command, which identified the suspect as the teenager’s biological father, Uzoma Uwaeme, said the man was a known criminal. The arrest came after a video was posted on social media showing the child bound with ropes, injured and exposed to the harsh weather conditions, police said.
