Police in Rivers State have rescued a 15-year-old girl who was allegedly confined in a toilet for weeks at the home where she worked as a house help in Abuloma, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area. The teenager, identified simply as Amaechi and originally from Ebonyi State, was rescued on Monday, September 14, after the landlord became concerned that she had not been seen outside the residence for some time.
