An 11-year-old boy from Virginia has been arrested for making over 20 bomb and shooting threats to several schools in Florida. The threats, made over a nine-day period in May, targeted Buddy Taylor Middle School and four other schools in Flagler County. The arrest followed a 10-week investigation into the threats. Authorities traced the calls to the boy’s home in Virginia, where he admitted to making the threats using methods he learned online. He also confessed to making a similar threat to the Maryland State House. Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly praised the intervention, noting that the boy’s behavior was becoming increasingly dangerous.
