A teenager has been apprehended in connection with a case where a nine-year-old boy from his boarding school in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras was strangled, officials said on Wednesday.
“We have apprehended the minor after he confessed in front of the investigating officer to have strangled the child. He thought that the school would be shut following the death and he would not need to attend classes,” said Superintendent of Police, Hathras, Chiranjeev Nath Sinha.
